Flying After Aesthetic Treatment in Korea: What to Discuss Before Departure
Treatment Guide · VS Line Clinic Gangnam
There is no single departure waiting period that applies to every filler, B-TOXIN or lifting procedure. Discuss the treatment and area, your condition, follow-up needs, flight duration and access to care after arrival with your clinician. A booked flight alone does not determine suitability for treatment.
What should I share if my flight is already booked?
Give the departure date and time, connections and travel duration, destination and important events, and whether you can return for review. Ask what needs checking before departure and which situations would require changing your plan.
If I look fine the next day, can I leave immediately?
Appearance alone cannot exclude every problem. Before booking, ask what observation or review your individual plan requires. New symptoms shortly before departure should be medically assessed rather than ignored for travel. This guide does not guarantee safety after a fixed number of hours.
Which filler symptoms should not wait for an online reply?
Vision changes, unusual or severe pain, or skin turning white, grey or blue near an injection site can require urgent medical assessment. Seek emergency care instead of waiting for a flight or an online response.
What records help with follow-up after returning home?
Confirm the products or devices used, treatment date, areas and amounts, aftercare instructions and clinic contact details. Ask how to obtain records, in which language, and how planned review will work before leaving Korea. Remote messages cannot always replace an in-person examination.
