Ultherapy or Thermage With Filler and B-TOXIN: Can You Combine Them on a Korea Trip?

Treatment Guide · VS LINE CLINIC GANGNAM

A short stay does not make an all-in-one treatment day the best choice. Energy procedures and injectables need a plan based on goals, areas and previous treatment. Energy-first sequencing is often considered for same-area combinations, with device- and product-specific adjustments.

Should lifting or filler come first?

Expert consensus on same-day microfocused ultrasound and filler suggests performing the energy treatment first. This is not an absolute rule for every device, material and clinical situation.[1]

Can I have lifting if I already have filler?

The filler material, location and date need assessment alongside the proposed energy delivery. Existing filler does not mean every treatment is prohibited, and it does not justify assuming that every combination has no interaction.[2][3]

Can B-TOXIN be included on the same day?

A clinician may consider combining treatments for separate concerns, while choosing sites, amounts and order individually. Each procedure needs a purpose; the number of procedures is not a measure of quality.[1]

Does one treatment day mean one day of recovery?

No. Bruising, swelling, tenderness and result-assessment timing differ. Allow for important events and an opportunity for review before departure.

What records should I provide?

List earlier products and devices, dates, areas and adverse reactions. Discuss what should be staged rather than compressed into the trip, and establish a follow-up route after returning home.

What do FDA records and clinical studies say?

Ultherapy PRIME. Ultherapy PRIME is FDA-cleared. K233996 covers brow lifting, lifting lax tissue under the chin and on the neck, and improving décolleté lines. A 2021 expert consensus and review supports planning treatment around ultrasound images and individual anatomy. Neither this clearance nor that review establishes that 600 shots outperform 300 for every face.[FU][U1]

Thermage FLX. Thermage FLX has FDA 510(k) clearance, K170758, for noninvasive wrinkle treatment, including the eye area; the RF-only indication includes upper and lower eyelids. A 2025 randomized study used Thermage CPT as a comparator. That study provides RF treatment context, but it is not a direct trial of FLX 600 versus 900 shots.[FT][T3]

Dermal fillers. FDA approval of a dermal filler is specific to the product, indication and patient population. Sharing a hyaluronic-acid ingredient or brand does not extend approval to every product or facial area. Confirm the exact injectable and planned site at consultation; 1 cc and 2 cc are not FDA-prescribed doses for an individual face.[F1]

B-TOXIN. The U.S. B-TOXIN Cosmetic label includes temporary improvement of moderate-to-severe glabellar, crow’s-feet and forehead lines and platysma bands in adults. Masseter slimming and intradermal pore treatment are not listed in the reviewed label. Approval is product-specific, and units cannot simply be transferred between toxin brands.[B4][B3]

Can I book lifting, filler and B-TOXIN in one day during a Korea visit?

Appointment availability and medical suitability for combined treatment are separate questions. Share previous treatment records and discuss the need for each procedure, order, staged alternatives and follow-up. A short stay alone is not a reason to combine procedures.

How should you compare prices?

Start with the official treatment and price page, then request an itemized quote naming the device or product, treatment area, dose or shot count, and sessions. Confirm taxes, anesthesia or pain management, follow-up charges, optional treatments and any offer conditions before booking.

Planning repeat visits or a trip to Korea

If you live locally, discuss when you can return. If visiting Korea, share your arrival, departure and important event dates. English, Chinese and Japanese interpretation is available; request your preferred language when booking and confirm whether the consultation uses an interpreter or a clinician speaking that language. Confirm the treating clinician and appointment availability.

What should you arrange before leaving?

Ask for aftercare instructions, the timing of any review, whom to contact about a concern and which symptoms need medical attention. Before returning abroad, confirm how to contact the clinic and request treatment records, including the available language and issue process. Seek medical assessment for suspected complications rather than waiting only for an online reply.
